Let me notice you that the Flac files 06. Sinking And 28. Wrong Number has errors when I try to convert to wave files.

What on earth happened the the mountain view file set? It's ruined? Is remastering just turning it up as loud a possible nowadays?
Dern does it again. Brick-walling anything he touches. Just leave the masters alone for goodness sake. You clearly don't have a clue what you're doing.
I like Dern, I'm with you LCF. There is the option to keep the two files or keep the one we like the most. And everyone who puts it to their liking for their personal use, which as Dern wants to share ... There are so many tastes ...
OK, that's fine : you don't like Dern or audios on cureforall : go elsewhere. Please. Far away.

No they are not high quality.
They are just louder. You (and dern) wouldn't understand that because you have little knowledge of audio. dern's remasters are 1) Altering what are perfectly good file sets without even bothering to ask the taper(s) & 2) stripping the file sets of their dynamic range for the sake of loudness. Dern just adds a lot of extra noise to file sets without a care for quality whatsoever.
@scb : i don't understand a word of what you're saying. Dern produces high quality remasters, and shares them with everyone. I think you're just a hater. Dern has to be thanked, a lot.
